So, I've been a voracious reader for as long as I can remember. According to my parents, that started really young. Apparently, my mother found me in the living room teaching myself to read with the book she'd been reading to me only an hour previous at around the age of four. Apparently, I wasn't done at the same time she was.

Since then, I've been fascinated with the written word. Everything from lore heavy games to literature to tabletop gaming as well. I wrote for the enjoyment of it and spent a fair amount of time in various pennames writing fan fiction, since those stories ended before I was done with them as well.

Now, though, I can appreciate a good ending when the time comes. Especially since, as the author, I'm the one who gets to choose when the story wraps and the curtains close.

It is a good feeling!
